Privacy policy

UPickFarms is a directory you can use without telling us who you are. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comments. The site currently runs no advertising and no analytics. This page explains the little that is collected, and why.

What we collect

• Nothing you type into the site. Searching or filtering farms happens in your browser; the site has no forms that send personal details to us.
• Email you send us. If you write to contact@upickfarms.net, we keep your message and address to reply and to act on what you wrote, such as a correction. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your address.
• Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Vercel, which records standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time) to deliver and secure the site. These logs are kept by the host for a limited period; we do not use them to identify visitors.

Your location stays on your device

Some pages offer to show farms near you. If you choose “use my location”, your browser asks for your permission first, and the position is used only inside the page, in your browser, to sort farms by distance. It is never sent to us, never stored by us, and never put in a page address. You can decline and still browse the whole directory.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

The site sets no cookies and loads no advertising or analytics scripts. If a page remembers a choice you made, such as a filter, it keeps it in your own browser, where it is not sent to us.

If we add advertising or analytics in future, this page will be updated before that happens, and it will name the services used, what they collect, and the choices you have.

Links to other sites

Listings link to farm websites, and to map services such as Google Maps for directions. When you follow a link, the other site's privacy policy applies.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices and contact

To ask what we hold about you, or to have an email you sent us deleted, write to contact@upickfarms.net. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. See also the terms of use.
