Report a correction
Last updated October 6, 2026
Seasons move with the weather, prices change every year, and farms start or stop offering U-pick. If something on a listing is wrong, tell us: email contact@upickfarms.net. Every farm listing also has a “Report a correction” link that fills in the farm for you.
What to include
- The listing address (the /farm/… link), or the farm's name and town.
- What is wrong and what it should say.
- Where the right information is published, ideally a page on the farm's own website. We publish seasons, hours and prices only when we can point to a source.
How we handle a correction
- We read every report.
- We check it against the farm's own website or other material the farm has published.
- If the farm's own information supports the change, we update the listing and its “last checked” date. If we cannot confirm it, we may hide the detail in question rather than leave a wrong one up.
- If the report points to a wider problem, such as a season left over from an earlier year, we check other listings for the same issue.
For farm owners and staff
The quickest way to change your listing is to publish the new season, hours or prices on your own website and send us the link. We do not charge for listings or changes, and a listing's position never depends on payment.
Closures and removal
“Closed for the season” is not “closed”: a farm that has finished picking for the year stays listed with its usual months. We mark a farm closed only when it says it has closed for good, sold the farm or stopped offering U-pick.
We remove a listing when the farm has closed permanently, never offered picking to the public, or is not a farm. A farm owner can also ask us to remove a listing; write from an address connected to the farm or include a link that shows you speak for it.
How listings are built and checked: editorial policy.
