About UPickFarms
Last updated October 7, 2026
UPickFarms is an independent directory of U-pick and pick-your-own farms in the United States, operated by UPickFarms. It answers one question: where can I pick strawberries, apples, blueberries or pumpkins near me, when is the season, and what will it cost?
Farm websites answer that in very different ways, and often only in a social-media post. We read what each farm publishes, put it into one consistent format, and show where every season, price and rule came from and when we last checked it. When something is not known, the listing says so instead of guessing.
What you will find here
- Farm listings with the crops a farm offers for picking, its picking windows, in-season hours, prices and policies such as reservations, containers, payment and pets, each taken from the farm's own website and dated.
- Typical state seasons for each crop in the states we have researched, taken from state agriculture departments and land-grant university Extension services. They are shown as a guide to the usual months and are kept separate from what each farm publishes about its own season.
- Practical guides on picking, storing and visiting, each built from Extension and agriculture department publications and listing its sources. See the guides.
Where the information comes from
The directory currently lists 30,260 farms in all 50 states and Washington, DC. Most of them were found through public map listings found through web search, which supply the farm's name, address, phone number, website and map point. Some farms are also in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's public directories of farms that sell directly to the public, which are public domain and add or confirm those details. We never copy ratings, reviews or listing hours from any of them.
Whether a farm offers U-pick, and what it grows, charges and requires, comes from the farm's own website. Each farm page quotes the farm's own words word for word, with a link to the page and the date we read it. An AI reading of the same pages helps find those facts, and everything it reports is checked against them: a crop, a picking month or a closed-for-the-season notice is shown only when that reading and the farm's quoted words agree, or when the farm's own sentence says it plainly. The editorial policy explains the process in detail.
Independence
- We do not own, run or represent any farm, and we do not sell tickets, reservations or produce.
- Farms do not pay to be listed or to appear higher. There are no sponsored listings.
- We do not publish star ratings or copy reviews from other websites.
- The site carries no advertising today. If that changes, ads will be labeled, kept apart from farm information, and the privacy policy will be updated first.
Mistakes and changes
Seasons move with the weather and farms change what they offer. If a listing is wrong, or you run a farm and want its details updated or removed, see how to report a correction.
